Championship Sunday

MAA girls basketball championship games from 9 to 16 to be played at one site on one day

May 20 at Archbishop Carroll High School, Radnor, Pa.
Games start at 8:30 a.m., admission $5 (under 16 are free), proceeds to benefit MAA Girls Basketball

Schedule of events (all games in boys gym unless noted):

8:30 a.m. 12-and-under final: Chester County Wizards vs. Comets (girls gym)

9 a.m.: 10-and-under final: Fencor vs. Belles

10 a.m.: 11-and-under final: Riptide vs. Renegades (girls gym)

10:15 a.m.: 13-and-under final: Mid-Atlantic Elite vs. Belles

11:30 a.m.: 14-and-under final: Fencor vs. Lower Delco (girls gym)

11:30 a.m.: 15-and-under final: Comets-Mountain vs. Belles-McDade

1 p.m.: 16-and-under final: Comets vs. Rebels

2:30 p.m.: 9-and-under final: NE Rockers vs. Renegades

Note: If undefeated team (first team listed) in final loses, playback game will be held approximately 90 minutes afterward or as soon as gym available. 9- and and-under game may be moved to girls gym if older teams have playback.

Directions to Archbishop Carroll High School (211 Matson Ford Road Radnor, PA 19087):

From Washington DC and Delaware:

95 NORTH to 476 North (towards Plymouth Meeting)

Take to Exit 13 – St David/Villanova.  You will want to get in middle last off exit.  Follow across Route 30, continue on road past athletic fields  and office parks.  Go under overpass to the 1st  light.  Make right onto MATSONFORD ROAD.  Follow to 1st light and turn into CARROLL.  Proceed to back parking lot

From South Jersey:

Walt Whitman to 95 SOUTH.  95 South to 476 North (towards Plymouth Meeting).

Take to Exit 13– St David/Villanova.  You will want to get in middle last off exit.  Follow across Route 30, continue on road past athletic fields  and office parks.  Go under overpass to the 1st  light.  Make right onto MATSONFORD ROAD.  Follow to 1st light and turn into CARROLL.  Proceed to the back parking lot.

From New Jersey Turnpike:

Take NJ Turnpike to PA Turnpike (Exit 6).  Pay toll – go west on the PA Turnpike.  Exit at 25A – Mid County Exit/476.  Take 476 South towards CHESTER. 

Take to Exit 13 – St David/Villanova.  Turn right onto route 30, 1st traffic light make a left onto King of Prussia Road.  Continue on road past athletic fields and office parks.  Go under overpass to the 1st light and make right onto Matsonford Road.  Follow to 1st light and turn into Carroll.  Proceed to the back parking lot.

From King of Prussia:

Take 76 EAST.  76 EAST to 476 SOUTH towards CHESTER.

Take to Exit 13 – St David/Villanova.  Turn right onto route 30, 1st traffic light make a left onto King of Prussia Road.  Continue on road past athletic fields and office parks.  GO under overpass to the 1st light and make right onto Matsonford Road.  Follow to 1st light and turn into Carroll.  Proceed to the back parking lot
