Searching for the best basketball team on the planet isn’t as easy as one would think. Teams in Europe are getting better and better each year along with the national teams getting stronger.
On the international scene we have two contenders for the best basketball team. First you have the Spanish National Team that is anchored by both Gasol brothers and up and coming point guard Ricky Rubio. In 2008 Olympics team Spain gave the best International team all it could handle the United States. The USA put themselves back on the map with a dominating run in the Olympics and then in the World Championships. Expect the USA to be led by Dwayne Wade, Lebron James and Kevin Durant in 2012.
The best basketball in the world is played in the NBA. The argument on the best team is down to the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks. While each team has a chance the Miami Heat looks to be the best of the bunch. In a one game do or die game the Miami Heat will have the two best players on the court versus any team on the planet and the best third wheel in the NBA with Chris Bosh.
